Edda for MYP of Gateshead: My Manifesto
Below is my manifesto, which is a promise of what work and campaigning you will get if you vote for me.
These points each correlate with my central campaigns: anti-racism, climate action and youth empowerment.
Manifesto key points
As an MYP, I will put forward key manifesto points to add to the UK Youth Parliament manifesto. For further explanation of these points, please read the relevant sections in my manifesto.
The UK Government to make anti-racism a distinct and compulsory topic in the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum which is taught at least annually. The Government will work with other resource providers to create anti-racist resources available to all schools.
Anti-racism
The UK Government to immediately end all tax reliefs for the fossil fuel industry.
Climate action
The UK Government to cancel university tuition fees
